I first met Jeremy at the ITS Open Day on a rainy day of February 2014. Despite the typical English weather (even by Belgian standards), Jeremy has convinced me to undertake the MA Transport Economics. Jeremy was both a great professor and a very kind human being. He also had a great sense of humour, but remained humble in all circumstances. The first day of class, I can still picture him explaining us that transport economics was not the poshest topic of all. "But it's a great topic, and you will love it". He was totally right. Jeremy will be missed.
